We Empower Teens and Young Adults to Overcome Addiction

Star Guides provides treatment that helps teens overcome technology, porn, and sex addictions. If your adolescent and young adults struggles with any of the three addictions listed above, they may be a great fit.

Navigation to Healthy Relationships

STAR Guides is the country’s premier wilderness treatment program for teens and young adults with technology, pornography, and sexual addictions.

We are unique among therapeutic programs for teens and young adults because of our specific focus on diagnostic assessment and treatment of Teen compulsive sexual and relational behavior issues offering intense guidance and therapy for young males, and their parents.

Patient Outcomes & Key Findings

STAR Guides students show statistically significant progress from when they begin treatment to when they graduate from the program and beyond.  For this instrument (a lower score equals less mental health distress), a clinically significant drop is 13 points.

Our research results show that parents perceive their son or daughter at an average score of 98 when they arrive and an average score of 24 when they graduate, then it climbs into the low 50s and maintains that score throughout the year.

Unlike other teen and young adult programs that treat a broad range of substance and behavior issues in traditional settings, STAR Guides Wilderness provides a specialized “unplugged” environment to reset and re-balance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of youth.  Because of the very personal nature of their issues, under the guidance of highly trained therapists and professionals, we provide a setting where youth can feel safe and supported when working through sensitive pornography or sexual issues along with trauma, free of fear, embarrassment, or shame.
